Sunset Point is a lakefront community located 20 minutes south of Charlotte, North Carolina, along the southern shore of Lake Wylie in Rock Hill, South Carolina.

 

Truly diverse in its residents, the Sunset Point community includes everyone from single people, professional couples and families with children, to retirees and empty nesters.

 

With very active Pool, Social and Welcome Committees, residents regularly get together for events including the annual Easter Egg Hunt, Fourth of July fireworks, summer Pool Parties, the Fall Garage Sale, and Community Holiday events.

 

Additionally, Sunset Point has an active Neighborhood Watch Program to engage residents in maintaining a safe and secure community.

 

Founded in 2002, Sunset Point offers many amenities to its residents including a pool with a cabana facility, grills, and picnic area, private beach area, picnic pavilion with fire pit/grills, and a lakeside boardwalk with rocking benches.

 

The community is also equipped with a 64 space community boat storage area. Most lakefront homes in the community are equipped with either private backyard docks or private community slips.
