The Common Area Committee monitors the condition of the landscaping at the front and back entrances, the picnic and pavilion area, the boardwalk and beach, the pool, the boat storage area and the five retention ponds within Sunset Point. The Committee also coordinates reservations for the picnic area and space in the Boat Storage Area.

 

Over the years, this Committee has been instrumental in setting up volunteer efforts to handle projects that would otherwise have cost the community thousands of dollars with vendors, including powerwashing and painting the Boardwalk and pavilion, refurbishing the pool surround, boat storage area improvements, installing charcoal grills, building steps to the beach area and countless other big and small projects to maintain and improve Sunset Point.
