The Pool Committee is the one committee in our community that is made up of members from both the Sunset Point Homeowners Association (SPHOA) and the Townhome Owners Association (THOA). This Committee oversees the day-to-day maintenance and ongoing safe operation of the pool, coordinates with and monitors the work of contractors, and handles reservations for the use of the pool for events.
Before the pool opens for the season, the committee gets together to clean up and set up the pool furniture and the cabana facility, and makes sure that all the required signage and permits are in place.
During the season, the committee plans and hosts summer events, and continually works to maintain a clean and safe environment for swimmers and sunbathers alike. At the end of the season, the Committee stores the furniture and closes down the pool for the season.
